Our team in the Philippines organized a public forum on Prevention and Control of CVDs: Implication for UHC Rollout last Wednesday, 13th of November 2019, at the Sheraton Manila Bay Hotel.
The forum was a joint event organized with the RESPOND Project of the College of Medicine of University of the Philippines Manila, a project that is also working on CVDs in the Philippines.
60+ participants attended the forum representing various institutions including the DOH, other national government agencies, WHO, local government officials, academia and the civil society. The representative of the Swiss ambassador also attended the forum.
